Ohio State University researchers are studying how asbestos fibers can trigger mesothelioma cancer in the human cells. They will be studying the most common conditions such as chronic respiratory disease, asbestosis, lung cancer and mesothelioma cancer. Read more about the study here.

In the UK, news of a law change is welcome news for families of those that die at home of mesothelioma cancer. As the old law stood, when the cancer victim died at home, the police would have to come to the home and interview surviving family members. The body was considered evidence.
