9/11 Asbestos Exposure Reality

Everyone witnessed the tragedy on 9/11 by watching TV or by being right there in New York. What no one even considered that tragic day was the asbestos exposure that everyone was getting. The World Trade Center was not exempt from containing asbestos. The dust was flying everywhere and people were inhaling and swallowing the asbestos fibers.

This means that anyone that was there in person or watching from a distance could have been exposed to asbestos fibers and is at risk for developing mesothelioma cancer in the future. The tragedy of that day could linger for years or even decades because of the loss of life, but also because the new cases of mesothelioma cancer that could result from the exposure to asbestos fibers.
