128 Companies Sued After Fathers Death From Mesothelioma

Charles Snelling was an industrial painter for most of his life before retiring in 2001. Charles’s son Charles Snelling II has filed lawsuits against 128 companies following the death of his father due to mesothelioma cancer. Snelling died in April of 2007 a year after being diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer. The son stated that his dad’s asbestos exposure should have been foreseeable by the 128 companies.

The medical costs for the year and the funeral expenses are part of the lawsuit as well as the family being deprived of his companionship and love. The lawsuit could prove to be the largest lawsuit ever filed against any company in history. The lawsuit seeks economic damages of $200,000, $150,000 compensatory damages and other damages amounting to over $150,000. Snelling is also seeking punitive damages against Sprinkmann Insulation, Sprinkmann Sons Corporation, Ferris Kimball Company and Young Insulation.
